Over the last few weeks I have been working on a crazy talk project. Crazy talk allows the user to create moving and talking faces out of ordinary, still images. First you have to define all the facial features, eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows and the face. (Basically anything that you wajnt to move!) After this, we changed the background and because I chose Barack Obama, I went for the american flag. Furthermore we recorded a rap which suited the characteristics of our image.

I when you hover your mouse over a parrot, the parrot disappears as if you are shooting it. When you shoot a parrot your score goes up by 1, and when you press the green flag the score it set back to 0. Click on the image or here to play my game!
First I added a background, then parrots and I made my own crosshair sprite with the paint tool. I added the scripts to make the parrots dissapear. After that I added a variable, so whenever you sahoot a parrot, the score increases by 1.
Pong is the legendary game that games that everyone knows.
I made a background using the editor (black background, centre line in the middle, with scoring lines on either side.) When the ball hits the right wall, the left player gains 1 point (points are displayed at the top.) The bats and the ball are sprites, and when the ball hits the bat, it bounces off in a random direction. Once a point is scored, the ball returns to the centre of the game and waits for 2 seconds before going in a random direction.

For our art homework we had to prepare and make an Ice Sculpture. I filled some rubber gloved with water and left them in a freezer for 48 hours. This is what they turned out to look like!
I’ve just come back from riding my bike (which is on my Christmas list!) around Mapperley Top and Mapperley Park, what a cold way to start the day. But what makes the 20th of February really special is that Top Gear episode five is on BBC2 at 8PM! Don’t miss it!

1. Go to the Clustrmaps website
2. Enter the URL of your blog and school e-mail.
3. Click on “Make My Map” then scroll down and copy the HTML code.
4. Go the widgets section of your dashboard and add a blank text widget. Make the title “Clustrmaps” and paste the HTML code into the bigger box.
5. Press save. It will take 24hours for clustrmaps to get the data to display.
